Commercial, Pinecrest to Key West
Commercial pool design and construction
Resort, hotel and multifamily pools that perform flawlessly, with the State of Florida Department of Health paperwork handled so the pool gets its operator's permit and opens on time.
The operator's permit sets the opening day
On a resort, hotel or multifamily job the pool is rarely the only thing waiting to open. Rooms, restaurants and leasing offices all keep pace with a date, and a public pool cannot meet that date until the municipality and the State of Florida Department of Health are satisfied. The operator's permit, not the last coat of plaster, is what decides opening day.
Pool Tech's industry knowledge of dealing with municipalities and the State of Florida Department of Health is there so the pool gets the operator's permit and opens on time. It comes from over thirty-eight years in the commercial and luxury pool industry.
Planning for that review starts with the design, not the final inspection: drawings, equipment and bather load are shaped to be approved. A developer or architect can call the Pinecrest office at 305.226.7510 and begin that conversation before the plans are set.

Pools shaped for the people who will use them
The commercial list at Pool Tech reads Recreational Pool & Spa Design, Lazy River, Training elements, Interactive water features and Fountains. Each one answers a different guest: families drifting down a Lazy River, swimmers working lengths against Training elements, children at Interactive water features, and everyone crossing the property past Fountains.
Resort, hotel and multifamily owners ask different things of the same water. The Islander in Islamorada, with two freeform lagoon pools and a spa set in a paver deck, is made to be looked at from a balcony as much as swum in. Regalia Surfside in Sunny Isles Beach and Kimpton Epic in Miami put an infinity edge to work against an ocean and a skyline.
Integra Build's Jorge Serna writes that Pool Tech equips developers to efficiently value engineer, design and construct their development pools, which is the multifamily side of the same work.
Equipment handed over for daily operation
Jet configuration, Pool control systems and Lighting equipment are where a commercial pool stops being a drawing and becomes something a maintenance crew runs every morning. Jet configuration decides how water moves through a pool or spa; Pool control systems let staff manage that equipment from one place; Lighting equipment carries the pool into the evening hours guests care about most.
A pool that opens on time still has to run on an ordinary Tuesday. The equipment is laid out so the people responsible for it every day can read it, reach it and service it. Joseph A. Roig of Atlantic Pacific describes priorities fully aligned: building high-quality pools on time and within budget.
Thirty-Eight years of experience created lasting relationships.
